Your journey begins in the bustling capital of Bangkok with its beautiful palaces and temples. Then we take you to the colorful floating market and the popular resort of Cha-Am or Hua Hin, with beautiful national parks in the vicinity. You will discover the poignant history and natural beauty of the River Kwai. In the World Heritage Ayutthaya you can discover the glorious past and the Khao Yai National Park is Thailand's best-known wildlife park and nature reserve. On the beach of Pattaya or Jomtien you can enjoy the sun, sea and sand and let all the impressions you have gained during the trip sink in. Your tour ends in Bangkok. A true voyage of discovery!

Day 1: Bangkok (approx. 40 km)

Upon arrival at Bangkok airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to the centrally located hotel. You will stay 2 nights in the fascinating metropolis of Bangkok.

Day 2: Bangkok - city tour

In the inner city, visit the magnificent Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. The splendor of the huge complex is dazzling. Afterwards you will take a refreshing boat trip on the wide 'River of Kings' and through the narrow 'klongs' of the Thonburi district. You will pass the majestic Wat Arun on the riverbank, the 'Temple of Dawn' and the Royal Barge Museum with the golden royal sloops. The afternoon is at leisure.

Day 3: Bangkok - Damnoen Saduak - Phetchaburi - Cha-Am/Hua Hin (approx. 220 km)

In the town of Damnoen Saduak you will sail to the colorful floating market. A particularly photogenic spectacle. Near the town of Phetchaburi you will visit the beautiful Phra Nakhon Khiri Historical Park. The 19th century palace complex of King Rama IV is located on the hills of Khao Wang. Then you drive to the popular resort of Cha-Am or Hua Hin where you stay 2 nights in a beautiful resort located near the beach.

Day 4: Cha-Am/ Hua Hin – Khao Sam Roi Yod and Kuiburi National Park – Cha-Am/Hua Hin (approx. 160 km)

In the Khao Sam Roi Yod Marine National Park, a beautiful landscape of limestone formations, mangrove forests, freshwater swamps and beaches, you take a fishing boat trip through the mangrove to a quiet beach. Here you can visit the Prayanakorn cave. The steep climb to the cave is well worth the effort. You will be rewarded with a magnificent view of the cave into which you descend. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will take a safari car in the afternoon/evening in the Kuiburi National Park, the best place in Thailand for spotting wild elephants. In the evening you will return to the hotel.

Day 5: Cha-Am/Hua Hin - Nakhon Pathom - Kanchanaburi - River Kwai (190 km)

In Nakhon Pathom you will visit the Phra Pathom Chedi. The chedi (stupa) dominates the city and at 120 m is the tallest Buddhist stupa in the world. After lunch, visit the Bridge over the River Kwai in Kanchanaburi. Afterwards you will drive to your accommodation located in the jungle and on the river. You will stay 2 nights at the River Kwai Jungle Rafts or The Floathouse River Kwai. In the evening you have dinner.

Day 6: River Kwai - Erawan waterfall and Hellfire Pass - River Kwai (approx. 90 km)

Amid the greenery of Erawan National Park, the stunning waterfall plunges into shady pools where you can swim in the crystal clear waters. The park also offers the opportunity to climb up the waterfalls via a beautiful, but steep path. After lunch at a local restaurant, take a walk on the Hellfire Pass Memorial trail. In the evening you will again have dinner.

Day 7: River Kwai - Ayutthaya Historical Park - Khao Yai (approx. 220 km)

In Kanchanaburi town, you will visit the War Cemetery and Thailand-Burma Railway Center Museum. Afterwards, drive to Ayutthaya, the former capital of Siam, to visit the world-famous Ayutthaya Historical Park, listed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. After lunch at a local restaurant, drive to the resort near the entrance of Khao Yai National Park, where you will stay for 2 nights.

Day 8: Khao Yai National Park

You will visit the Khao Yai National Park, Thailand's most famous wildlife park and nature reserve. You follow the main route through the park, stopping at viewpoints, the park headquarters and taking walks to Heo Suwat and Heo Narok waterfalls. Along the way you will see exotic birds, deer and monkeys that are sometimes curiously waiting for passers-by! A simple lunch is included.

Day 9: Khao Yai - Pattaya/Jomtien (approx. 290 km)

After breakfast at the hotel you will drive to the cozy seaside resort of Pattaya/Jomtien

You can choose to stay 2 nights in Pattaya or Jomtien in a hotel located near the beach

After arrival at the hotel, our guide and driver will head back to Bangkok.

Day 10: Pattaya/Jomtien

You have a whole day at leisure and can enjoy the beach, the sun and the sea.

Day 11: Pattaya/Jomtien - Bangkok (approx. 150 km)

Today you have a transfer to Bangkok where you stay 1 night in a centrally located hotel.

Day 12: Bangkok

This tour ends on day 12. You will be transferred back to Bangkok airport or you can choose to extend this tour with one of our many extension options.
