Chiang Mai Explorer 8
Chiang Mai Explorer 8: Bike Tour Surprising Chiang Mai
Half day tour (morning) / private or in international company / including lunch
A varied, approximately 25 – 30 km long bike ride that shows the beautiful area south of Chiang Mai.
After a short briefing, we leave your hotel by bike. You will see that the traffic is not so bad and that we are quickly outside Chiang Mai. We follow the Ping River downstream to the south. You will visit the McKaen Institute, which today serves as a rehabilitation center and houses a handicraft center. The bike ride continues on rural roads, past orchards and rice fields and through small authentic northern Thai villages and gives you a clear picture of the diversity of rural, "real" Thailand. Curious children and parents wave at you with a smile. We then cycle along the ruins of Wiang Kum Kam and enter Chiang Mai via a carefully thought-out route. Drinking water, snacks and a light hot meal are included.
Prices are per person and on request.
