Koh Phangan

Welcome to Koh Phangan

“Lush nature and white sandy beaches”

Koh Phangan, located 15km north of Koh Samui, offers the same tropical cocktail of fine sandy beaches, accessible coral reefs and a rugged forested interior. The 168 km2 island consists of 70% mountain landscape, overgrown with tropical jungle. Coconut plantations lie in the lowlands while the island is surrounded by numerous sheltered rocky coves with pristine and uncrowded beaches.

Thong Nai Pan Bay, a bay with a coral reef, located on the northeast side of the island, offers a beautiful panorama. In the northwest of the island, you can snorkel at Mae Haad and Koh Mae. Thong Sala is the gateway to the island, which can be reached by express or speedboat from Koh Samui.

Koh Phangan is less touristy than Koh Samui. Koh Phangan is also the scene of the most famous beach party in the world: The Full Moon Party. But it is not only a sultry paradise where you can dance until sunset, you can also enjoy deserted beaches and beautiful bays.
