Kata Beach
Kata Beach is also a good choice if you are not exactly looking for the bustle of Patong Beach. It is quiet and relaxed here. This beach in the south of Phuket has everything that makes the beaches of this island so popular. Palm trees, warm sea water and a beautiful landscape. During the rainy season (May-October) the waves on this beach can be very strong. This also makes it a great place for surfing. On the other hand, during that period it is less suitable for people with young children.
