Koh Lanta

Welcome to Koh Lanta

“Island for those seeking tranquility and for diving and snorkeling”

Koh Lanta. About halfway between Krabi and Trang is a group of 52 islands, 15 of which belong to the Koh Lanta National Marine Park. The largest island of the archipelago actually consists of 2 parts: Koh Lanta Yai (large Lanta island) and Koh Lanta Noi (small Lanta island). Lanta Yai has the most things to do, which is why we simply call it Koh Lanta. The island is about 70 km from Krabi town and can be reached in about 2 hours from Krabi by land and via a ferry.

Koh Lanta is covered with lush, forested hills and fringed by long stretches of powdery sand. The most beautiful beaches are on the west side of the island. The most popular beach on Koh Lanta is Klong Dao Beach on the northern west coast.

The island is ideal for boat trips to the mostly uninhabited islands, where you can admire many beautiful things while diving and snorkeling under water. Many tourists go to Koh Lanta for the tranquility, the beach, and of course diving and snorkeling. Koh Lanta is close to the dive spots Hin Daeng, Hin Muang and Koh Haa. Especially Hin Daeng and Hin Muang are considered the best places in Thailand for diving. The underwater life here is beautiful.
